Seasonal Survey revived from this month!!

[Seasonal Survey] FALL TO WINTER Q&A feat. Dio

It is getting cold in Tokyo in December, and fall is turning to winter now that you can't stand without a coat and a muffler. How's your town? In Japan, around this time, people send "nengajyo" (new year's cards) to others. Nengajyo is a card that you send to your friends and people you know with a message of celebrating new year. How about sending some postcards to people you love this time? Also to your favorite artists!

By the way, the artist who appears for Seasonal Survery this time, is denka from Dio! He shares his winter life and some events held during the end of year and new year! Also questions on holiday are answered with his drawing! Pleas enjoy!

Live Report of ViViD ONEMAN SHOW

ViViD started to actively perform from April 2009. About 6 months after the band was formed, on October 21st they released an EP titled 'THE ViViD COLOR'. With that EP in tow, on November 7th the five ViViD members Shin, Reno, Ryoga, Iv and Ko-ki stood onstage at Shibuya O-WEST. Even though it was their first solo concert, all the tickets had sold out. What sort of performance did they show on their important day? Here's a report of the monumental concert!

Episode 137: A Ray of D'espairsRay

Hi readers, this is Kaei from musicJAPANplus. It's my first time to write an article in pressnote because I went to D'espairsRay 10thanniversary live with Jou last week.

In Japan, it is getting cold and rains a lot these days, which indicates the Autumn is coming to this city. However, on Oct. 1st, the day of the live, it was shiny and warm. It's my first time to meet Jou, who is a world team member of musicJAPANplus from Singapore. After a short visit to the office, we left for the Shibuya station where C.C.Lemon Hall locates. We arrived at 18:00 sharp and it was quite dark outside but a lot of fans were waiting and talking.

[VRF × MJP] V-ROCK FESTIVAL '09 Fashion Show Report

'V-ROCK FESTIVAL '09' was held on October 24th and 25th at Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Halls 9-11. During the world's biggest live event [department store] Laforet Harajuku and [fashion magazine] KERA jointly held a fashion show called 'Laforet×KERA V-ROCK Collection'. In two days about 12,000 fashion and music fans enjoyed the show that took place on the S-STAGE. Although the atmosphere surrounding the stage was markedly different from the others, the fans were all equally excited. For the fashion show, artists leading the visual-kei industry lent a helping hand as well. Each artist became a model for each participating fashion brand. Fans of the musicians were treated to a rare spectacle.

CHERRYBLOSSOM - Surprise Announcement at Shibuya BOXX

CHERRYBLOSSOM, a female quartette living in Nagoya, had their successful national summer tour "HERRYBLOSSUMMER'09" with much improved performances. Throughout the nation, the band achieved the increased number of audience by as much as 40%! As their shows attract more and more attention, the band appeared in an event called "sweet honey vol.4" held at Shibuya BOXX.

Hi everybody! This is musicJAPANplus writer kanako.
There's only a month and a half to go before 2009 is over. How was this year for you? To further enjoy 2009 I am busy cramming schedules until year's end! Let's all enjoy the rest of the year and then welcome 2010 with open arms! Here in Tokyo you can sense that Christmas is gradually approaching. Until just a while ago, the shops were replete with Halloween decorations, but now the baton has been passed on from the Jack-o'-lantern to Santa Clause. The people walking by seem to have become busy preparing for the end of the year.
